I think what made apokolips work was how it picked up from reign of supermen, the ending if the teen titans run and the dark stories with constantine.... A lot like infinity war.... The build up was in the previous films. It literally started after they lost..... But it was a bold way to start a movie. So I can get not liking it.

Snyder makes music video movies imo.

Sucker punch is a great example. Amazing visuals... But the story was tough to sell imo.

Justice league the movie itself.....I don't think the story was it. But I can appreciate the visuals a guy like Snyder can bring.

I personally liked the look of bvs and JL


I LOVED that scene when superman followed flash running.... That shit was directed perfectly...I don't know who did it Snyder or Weedon.... But that's pretty much what I would like to see more of.... Stuff like that.... That's where my expectations lie.

The whole comedy aspect of the original Justice League is Weedon's DNA, even down to the Flash trying to fist bump Cyborg. What's relative is that there is a lot of drawn inspiration from Frank Miller's work and less of other great write ups like Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, Alex Ross etc.

If DCEU has any chance of creating something fresh then why not do a Superman film based on Superman: Godfall, or one of my favourite reads, Kingdom Come?

It's a long shot but if this Snyder Cut has someway set itself up for some kind of Final Crisis finale/spinoff then the guy is a genius.

To this day I don't understand how they justify bringing in Deathstroke and not Dick Grayson

Oh Damien Wayne in the DCEU is a must for most fans as they would appreciate a modern day Batman and Robin spinoff with Grayson but this feels like it would work better as a TV series rather than a feature film.

But until Warner Brothers/HBO Max sort their projects out, people are gonna be entertained by Disney and that fucking idiot Michael Bay

At absolute best... Meeting all my my expectations..... the Snyder Cut might make it to 6. But I don't see it breaking the top 5.

Each of the top 5 had classic memorable all time performances. No one gave that kind of performance in justice league, and I don't see how what they're advertising anything will deliver that kind of performance.

Even had Snyder had the chance to create the entire DCEU he visioned.... We're talking about Snyder. I don't see this or any version of this particular story being that great.

It took a lot for me to admit that there was a comic movie better than The Crow, but Infinity War and Winter Soldier had me all in on them.

My top 10 comic book flicks in no particular order are

1. Batman Begins
2. Spiderman 2
3. Blade
4. Captain America Winter Soldier
5. Captain America: Civil War
6: Avengers: Age of Ultra
7: Avengers: Infinity War
8: Man of Steel
9: Batman Returns
10: Logan

Although I enjoyed The Dark Knight, unfortunately the Antagonist outshone the hero, (which we already witnessed in too many films) which in the end wrote the fate of that trilogy.

Can't take Ryan Reynolds seriously ever since he messed up Green Lantern, so his Deadpool films didn't appeal as much and embarrassingly I still haven't seen The Crow.

I really tried to fit Logan in my top 10. Reeeeeally did. I'd prolly have that as 11 or 12.

2017's Justice League budget was $300M

The budget of this HBO special is $70M.

Now that you're throwing out bad numbers, I have to question where are you getting your information from?
 
I pulled it out my ass, but 70m is still less than a quarter of 300m


So it's safe to say we already saw 75% of the film ??‍♂️
