Bvs wasn't bad. It just didn't live up to expectations ??
One of the major key factors about the perennial success of the best pieces of fiction is that they never live up to the expectations of their contemporary viewership/readership.
Hence why we are still sh**posting extensively about Plato's Timeus, Shakespeare's theather plays, Moliere, Paradise Lost, Sir Arthur Clarke Doyle, the six first episodes of Star Wars, TLJ, "2001: A Space Odyssey" and so on and forth.
