I always figured she wasn't lying and really did go and come back like she said.

Idk what her rationale to lie would even be at the end.

They went passed the book in season 2 and 3 and a lot of the shit in the book was un explained.

They never explained why ppl disappeared in the books either.

But I'm getting serious Leftovers vibes with all these groups/cults.The cops,the kalvary,Lady Triue,the recovery group,Jehovah's Witnesses.

They claim this is a 1 and done,but I really hope not.

Kevin didn't give af either way.

He was going through the real thing. So it was easy for him to accept her bullshit. She was lying tho.

Maybe,but the last scene we saw of her was her going into the machine and saying stop as the process began.

The next time we see her she seems content so it seemed like she got a resolution somehow.

She must have had some money because she does have a house.

But maybe that's what the answer is that it doesn't matter if she lied or not.
 
It kind of makes more sense why the 7th Kalvary people wear the rorschach mask and look up to him. Before this episode I thought the public knew Veidt created the whole alien hoax massacre to stop all out nuclear war but evidently they thought he actually sent an alien from another dimension to earth.

People disregarded Rorschach's journal stating the fact about it all being a hoax besides the conspiracy theorists. The racist in Tulsa took up using Rorschach's mask as their symbol because they found out the president was in on the conspiracy with Veidt and they hated that the president gave black people reparations. Not to mention keeping the charade going with the baby squid rain every now and then.

I'm looking forward to Sunday's next episode

IDK if I would call an ambiguous ending is a cop out,but a lot of ppl think she lied

I read an article where Lindelof said he thinks she was lying.

Besides being gay,he may have been a serial killer of children who turned into a hero to fight his urges to kill.

BTW we should be pasting the peteypedia updates.They got a lot of new info weekly I think.Fills a lot of blanks in the backstory in between 85 and now

I dont think the plan was to end it after 3 seasons. Season 2 left too many unanswered questions that had to be swept away in s3...particularly the guilty remnant.

I think hbo wasnt given lindelof the budget after s1 did so bad...season 2 was a goat season of any tv show...so fans demanded that it got a s3.

I think thats why hbo is going all in on the watchmen...it gonna get the love that the leftovers nevet got.

The Leftovers never got huge ratings.I think they planned the show to be short because they ran out of source Material after S1.

They are trying to claim this will be a limited series,but if ppl watch it,we'll get more I'm sure.

No. After season 1. They flat out announced it would end after season 3.
Not arguing about this.

HBO doesn't wait it out or half step it. It's a go or its canceled.
 
All kinda threads being woven with the Kalvary fucking around with a teleporter. Then there's still the Asian trillionaire from the previous episode and whatever her agenda is.

Thankfully looks like we'll maybe get some clarity with Sister Night's granddad next episode
 
Minus that one part, the episode was dope af lol. Looks like the season is starting to streamline and answer basic questions we've had since the pilot. Only 3 eps left so hopefully it stays that way and doesn't veer too much further off track.

Great job tying alot of the past lore with this show last episode.

I understand even more why Lady Trueu is working with Angela's granddad because I believe they are about to cause some havoc to the United States. She hates what the United States did to Vietnam when they unleashed Dr. Manhattan on the country which killed her family and he has seen over the years all the fucked up stuff the country has done (and covered up) to his people and the world as a whole.

The next few episodes are gonna be crazy.
