And BP was very good. Great cast. But it should have been called killmonger. Tchalla was the least interesting person in the entire movie

Damn, those scores are pretty close to mine to be honest. You actually ranked some movies higher than I would have.

No but I feel the same way about black panther that I feel about Nolan's Batman trilogy....
Everything was perfect but the lead actor.
Black panther had the goat supporting cast.

But I preferred the BP from civil war vs the way he was in his own movie....
And I like the actor... But I feel like he just didn't deliver in this movie.... Maybe because killmonger stole every scene and made me feel like they were in his movie.... But I just wasn't rooting for him at no point in the movie.
He didn't have that chip on his shoulder he had in civil war. Maybe he was already tired of the role. I dunno. But it took away for me personally. Every re watch it's like the only scenes that matter are the ones with killmonger in them.
Even the fight with them rocking the colors of the African flag while fighting in the casino isn't as lit as I remember. Hands down the best part is when tchalla got beat and thrown off the cliff

Very good lead actor who embodied the role. Great direction.. Visually amazing.
But as you can see from my list..... Easily forgettable

I get what you're saying, but I think you're being unfair to Chadwick. It wasn't that Black Panther didn't deliver, it's just that the story was written in a way that all the other characters were strong too. Basically it was more a Wakanda movie than a Black Panther movie, so I don't think lowering the score for that reason is reasonable. That said, I'd agree with a score of 8 anyway.
Her story deep as fuck. Both her parents are bonkers. And they both know Bruce Wayne is Batman. And they both are world class assassins....
Like she couldn't read write or talk at age 8 but could read body language to fight and kill to an almost telepathic level.
Batman had her brain fixed so she could talk, but she lost her ability to read body language.... But found out her mother had the same ability so went to her mother to learn the max of all her abilities....
Her mom was like cool, but after a year we fight to the death...
So after the year, lady Shiva beat Cassandra and killed her....
Then restarted her heart... And told her she could sense she had a death wish and was holding back
So when they fought next Cassandra put the beats of all beats on Lady Shiva.... Then went back to gotham to hang with Bruce n them
