Dani Leigh gets dragged for promoting colorism

It doesn't have to be but alot of it is self perpetuated. Not all of it, but alot of it.

Dark skin blacks have to stop basing our standard of beauty on "tit for tat with white supremacy". Just because whites tried to place light skin over dark skin doesn't mean we now have to only praise dark skin and never compliment medium or light skin.

And first and foremost, all blacks have to stop prioritizing ANY complexion over any other complexion.

Then our women got to stop trying to police our individual preferences. It's always "get a black woman! Black people are so diverse!" until the brother gets a light skin woman. Suddenly "yeah but she don't look black therefore it don't count"

The colorism conversation has too many hypocrites and intellectually emotional bullies for us to completely solve the problem.

gotta say you damn sure are 100% correct...like what the fuck do you (not you) care who "black man 1" is dating...especially if you are in a healthy relationship yourself....who the f cares what the next person likes...

black is beautiful, brown is beautiful, light brown is beautiful...afrocentric is beautiful, a Spanish chick whose proud of her heritage is beautiful...like
why should it matter!?

If you comfortable in your own skin it don't matter what somebody else gotta say. Aint listen to the song but so what ..plenty preferring big ass and tittes..and plenty women who lack em still getting dick

That video where she claiming black and the way them.folks looking...funny

that last video wasn't her..that is from that love and hiphop bullsh*t. That was from that Veronica Vega chick (she is a baddie and her "fans only" be popping) they were beefing about afro-latino vs latino..which i don't even get. and no, her ass was wrong for claiming she black...like what is wrong with being Dominican...

Hol up

This no different than goofy racist whites when they ask "how come there's no WET channel?"

Its redundant

Hell no. That’s nowhere near the same thing.

You literally said lighter complexion black women should be proud of who they are.

It’s like this you can be proud of you skin tone just like you can proud of your race. Acting like colorism wasn’t real and that some lighter skin blacks wernt treated is why making a song about being yella bone is cringy. It really shouldn’t have to be explained at this point in 2021z
