Who are you to say it’s not a good decision though? It’s not a good decision based on what standards?
I already explained the outside pressure it adds to the kid, and how that can negatively effect their ability to make their own decisions. So by the standard of protecting your children, it was a bad decision.
Where do you disagree?
1. This has led to significantly more attention on Zaya
2. This has led to Zaya becoming a big name associated with trans children
3. Being a big name for trans children comes with pressure
4. Pressure, especially on a kid, can have a major impact on the decisions they make
5. Adding an outside influence that powerful, that you have no control over, to a 12 year old is a high risk choice.
6. Making high risk/low reward decisions (kid's already in a supportive/encouraging environment, financially set. There's not much to gain by Wade going on First Take to discuss this) with your kids is not a good decision.
