Do you have to have a sniper, or should I ask, is the sniper the preferred weapon when playing War Zone?

The guns you have to go and find and loot so they are random but there are loadout drops that drop a box that lets you choose your own saved loadouts

And preferred? Ehh it’s based on how you wanna play it. The other day was the first time I tried to use a sniper rifle as I usually just look for a LMG and assault rifle

I usually look for close to mid range guns because I spend a lot of time in buildings. And I have no problem waiting until the circle gets small to make moves.

you can go out headhunting though if you want but solo you don’t last long doing that

I was playing solo and hid out in a building overlooking the stadium and downtown

I was posted in a window with a sniper rifle and was watching somebody rummage near the stadium through the scope

shot the first shot he start scattering like a roach lol

After he hid for like 30 secs he poked his head out and I shot him and he then tried to pull out a sniper rifle and was aiming at me.

I left the window and went up two floors to the roof and went to the ledge and killed that nigga

then the gas came and at that point there were 16 ppl left

I finished in 10th place because niggas wanted to camp behind of staircases waiting for guys to run Past

I accidentally shot my gun twice and used two bullets on one guy

I've been running on Hard Core, campers for days, but to me, it has me improving my tactical skills. Way more thinking and strategizing.

Can't be all out in the open, gotta set traps and set yourself up in a mini-fort.

I prefer it now over Core

That's the mini-fort and General Patton strategic method, set up in a place that no one expects you to be at...

But seriously, the focus is more with me on hard core, more folks are trying to out-wit you to me when playing on Hard Core

Self revive kit. Costs $4500 at a buy station. He's dumb though. In solos if they get downed they have self revive. It's only an uncertain thing in team games.
