They aren’t in NATO and there was no clear cut reason for us to jump into this in the first place other than (somewhat seedy) economic ties. It’s a waste of energy and resources. We were told the money would help Ukraine defend itself, that has not happened other than dragging this out. It would have been better for the world economy if the conflict had been over in two weeks.
