Brady went to a stacked team? When?

Comes from watching games over the years whoever the league wants to win they'll get favorable calls. This isn't a new deal at all
What had the biggest effect on the outcome to u if u had to pick one? Officiating, injuries, bucs D, lackluster KC offense? Something else?

This still doesn't make sense to me. The League benefits more from Mahomes winning. This is a hit to the image of the guy that's the face of the NFL for years to come, and the narrative they were developing of him being the GOAT and catching Brady is dead now too.

Aren't you a Cowboys fan? They have probably the most marketable franchise, with maybe the biggest fan base and won 1 or 2 playoff games in 25 or however many years. If the league was rigging games, why aren't they helping the Cowboys? That'd be the smart business move.

I get that but that wasn't going to change the fact the kc tackle went out.

Kc didn't do them any favors when not running the ball

My bad.

I was just speaking in general. KC missing both tackles and EB called the worse game I ever seen.

The league benefits more with Brady winning and He's a white all American quarterback.
Having a white man being the greatest football player ever in a black dominated sport is way more profitable. Then a black(biracial) quarterback with a white one. IJS

He was already looked at as the GOAT. There's less money in building up Brady than there is building up Mahomes at this point. He has 1 foot out the door. Mahomes has the brightest future of any current player.

These more cop outs. It's not like he gets to the SB every year. He's not the only elite white qb. People don't want him to win including white fans.

How exactly does the league benefit?

Half the dudes complaining bout refs in that thread claimed they stopped watching the game early

There isn't less money seeing TB12 win and the reason that you mention isn't that strong. Historically, pushing anything white has always been profitable and it is what it is. Its like MJ in the 80's yeah he's the best player but we're going to have LB legacy strong as possible .

If it wasn't about having brady winning then why the hell they throw all those damn flags in the 2nd Q? It was the same script that we seen with teams against brady

You don't see how the league benefits seeing the quote unquote Greatest football player to touch the field? Let alone have him win with the storyline

Then why don't this guy win every year?

They picking and choosing what years they want him to win? Or let him get to the SB on his own THEN they'll press the buttons.

Tell me how it works

I don't understand how the critics can go from one extreme to the other.

First it was, "Patrick Mahomes is going to the Super Bowl two years in a row so he's the next Tom Brady!"

Now it's, "Patrick Mahomes lost the Super Bowl so now he's a bum and has always been a bum."

I mean, he went to the Super Bowl two years in a row, he deserves flowers for that alone. Ditto for Russell Wilson who went to the Super Bowl two years in a row, won the first and lost the second to Brady.

There's nothing wrong with going to the Super Bowl and losing. It means your team is better than 31 other teams in the NFL.

Even Tom Brady lost 3 Super Bowls.
