The only thing that makes me tear up lately is music.
Most recent bawl fest was my dog dying in my arms. Any family death would no doubt be even worse.
Rarely, tragic news brings a drop or two, particularly if it's involving children.
Nothing wrong with a man crying as long as they can function and be rational.
