I just didn't laugh much while watching this show which really disappointed me. Honestly the reason I rated it as high as I did is because it's a mostly black/biracial cast and they tried to drop some gems in each episode.

I was disappointed though with the humor aspect of the show. I like Black-ish and Curb your enthusiasm alot but this show isn't close to being funny like those are

Agreed on this take. I'd rate it around a 6-6.5 as well

That's the only gripe I really had with the show... the jokes fell a bit flat at times. Cant call if it was the delivery or the writing... cuz Blackish jokes hit alot more than this show did/does.

I say that fully realizing that Anthony Anderson is a comedic actor in comparison with Kenya tho
