Neither were as dark as what I’d heard. First episode made me think this was on some Goblin Slayer shit but it’s not. I’m not big into manga tho

yeah he was a pure asshole but I couldn’t blame him

the first 10 Eps really get under your skin but I liked how he developed over the season and how he worked hard without the money and resources to be better than the other heroes

The sword and bow hero were just unnecessarily dense

Yeah, all those Miyazaki movies are pretty legit if you know what to expect. I just watched Howl's Moving Castle not too long ago. It was pretty good too.
