#1 probably would need to work on a lil more.

Not really the compliment, tell you I love you regularly type. For me, that's already established. So I don't need it told to me. But then I gotta keep in mind the other person may not feel that way.

My old lady and I recently read (listened to) a relationship book called "The 5 Love Languages". Pretty good book about how people receive love.

The just is that there are 5 primary ways we all would like to receive love.
  1. Words of affirmation: compliments or words of encouragement
  2. Quality time: their partner's undivided attention
  3. Receiving gifts: symbols of love, like flowers or chocolates
  4. Acts of service: setting the table, walking the dog, or doing other small jobs
  5. Physical touch: having sex, holding hands, kissing
