Maybe the FO knew they weren't getting a good return for Dame and chose to work with what they had. You have to draft Scoot. Nothing is changing my mind about that. Nothing they were getting back for trading Scoot was gonna get Portland over the hump. Grant was a bad deal but he fits a roster need at PF.
