While he could’ve done better in Boston he still created a smart/Tatum/brown core that is perennially a contender

He already has a solid foundation imo to work with

Just gotta consolidate a bit and package some guys together and they back to the Gobert/Mitchell days as far as hovering around 50 wins

Is Walker Kessler and 26 year old Markkanen your foundation?

How do you get that actual number 1 franchise player

They'll get a lot of bites at the apple with all of the draft picks but I don't see them ever getting within the top 5 and no star player is signing in Utah

Will Hardy is a really good coach and they have just enough talent to not bottom out

You good money, I never thought you were a bad poster but you've definitely put in work to become more knowledgeable and expand how you look at the game.....prospects, college ball, international ball......it's dope that you actually wanted to learn more and go more in depth, I respect the commitment and dedication and it shows in the conversations you have
