Yup and speaking of TNT, NBA tv needs to get a better broadcast group. That's part of what attracts the casual. They have no loyalty to a team so the broadcast group needs to be more entertaining than nuanced (which imo they try and fail at routinely). You need 1 or 2 guys that can make it funny or spicy.

That's why TNT works and what has at least made ESPN/ABC games palatable up to this point.
You on fire with these ideas.

The cool thing about the "new" media landscape is its easy to find broadcast groups with built in fan bases. They'd just have to find the right ones, but as an example bringing All The Smoke to NBA TV is an easy way to rebrand the networks image.

That's another thing. The way NBA niggas have hijacked sports media you'd think a network like nba TV would be all over some of these niggas.

Get Brendon Haywood, Sam Mitchell and Steve Smith tf out my face man.

The hardcore fans gonna fuck with NBA tv either way let's be honest lol.

All of us in this thread no NBA tv to be on some bullshit nut if they have the right game we'll be there. That's part of the reason they're bullshiting. We're built in viewers.
Well yeah but they need to lean in to it more. Really highlight the up and coming teams and their stars. Minny, Sac, San Antonio should be all over that schedule with not just their games but features for Ant, Fox, and Wemby to build them up.

And then later in the season an NBA TV match-up with those staples playing a mainstream team like Denver, GState or the Lakers would suddenly feel like a bigger deal.

It’s crazy that every year a lot of us come up with great ideas to make NBA TV better and they trot out the same bullshit every year. 😂

All they seem to care about is keeping the budget low while running that channel
It's like they only use 25% of their potential. Like having access to everything the internet can provide but only surfing pornhub.

Lol we’ve been saying this for years!

I don’t get how they don’t improve

Tweet the NBA these ideas

In light of Brandon Ingram’s 26th bday let’s do a small assessment of him

Remember he was pitted against Jaylen Brown as far as who’s had the most potential?

So since Brandon Ingram has been drafted:

-1x All star
-MIP Award Winner
-19/5/4 career averages
-1 playoff appearance (First Round)
-Hasn’t played more than 63 games in any season outside of his rookie year
-Currently dealing with pressure from Austin Reaves

Now for Jaylen Brown:

-2x All Star
-18/5/2 Career averages
-All NBA 2nd Team
-No Left Hand after 7 years
-1 Finals Appearance
-4x conf finals appearances
-Signed the biggest contract in history

Which guy do you guys got now?

Do you think he can be the best player on a good team? Or a strong #2?

is he who he is at this point or is there another level to reach?
Chelsea are about to play, so i wont have a back and forth with u. But this is where i stand.

When Ingram played last season, he was one of the best players in the NBA, especially in the 2nd half. Pelicans are a joke of a team and folks were not paying attention.

He is one of the best scorers in the league and he does it so so efficiently while not sacrificing play-making for his teammates. His efficiency in the 4th qtr is ridiculous, one of the best in the NBA.

Now his main problem and also why he is struggling at the FIBA World Cup is it looks like he is below average off ball. This is less of an issue in the NBA bcos his usage is usually around 25-30. But will be ideally if he gets better there.

Also, he is terrible defensively. Which is surprising to me bcos in his last season with the Lakers, His defense was pretty strong imo. I guess i can just blame the useless Pelican franchise for that. Should try to lock in on this side of the ball bcos he has shown promise here and has the physical tools to be elite here.

Also, stay healthy mfer, smh.
