I never seen a superstar’s stock fall this badly in such a short time like Russ.
His play was based off his athleticism and at 34 that's gone so he is what we see now
I remember in 2019 when Russ was with PG in OKC and I noticed him starting to fall off a bit
I noticed the fall off then but I also knew this guy needed to be smart about how he ages and to nobody’s surprise he wasn’t
Russell Westbrook is bad because he doesn't have any of the skills that makes a basketball player actually good.
His shooting touch is terrible. His decision making is terrible. His shot selection is terrible. His off-ball game is non-existent. His ball-handling is average. He doesn't try at all on defense.
He was one of those guys that were a top 1 percent athlete in the league and he played super hard.
Westbrook is good passer and that's it.

I still think he’s still very athletic but the days of him sprinting to the basket anytime he wants to get a lay up or dunk is over. His shooting isn’t gonna get any better either
He was playing well with the Wizards from what I remember.
Basically improve his shooting enough to become a spot up guy.

And rather go through the process to make Russ a spot up shooter you can just trade for one like
Yeah it’s a lot easier as a washed star to play on a losing team where your usage is that high
look at the rockets and lakers where they are trying to win and you aren’t as featured
Russ was never a good fit next to another ball dominate guy in Bron. Nor did they really try to accommodate him at all. It was as mess all around.
Beal was leading the league in scoring on that same team.
