I get the hesitancy, I would like to see him show a little more maturity and reliability first but I'm a Scoot believer and think it's worth the gamble to get him on a bargain/value deal with maybe a team option or something to protect us

It's a risk either way, if he has a breakout season he's going to command way more later on versus if we get him locked up now
