Then they let him go and someone else does. It doesn't matter what I'd pay him. The point is he's not out his mind for thinking he can get that much money.

Well, let's wait for that to happen first. He can ask for the world and we can comment about it.

This franchise tag is gonna pay him $37.7 million. They're gonna start over at QB over $3 mil/year?

well seeing that they are at a stand still, you tell me? also this thought works both ways. He is not gonna sign over 3 mil/year?

100 of it guaranteed too.

Shit. Dallas is the one with a problem. Dak is confident he can get his money. They aren't confident they can get another QB.

Dak coming in to negotiations with his David Ruffin energy. That franchise tag is their "And I refuuuuse to let you go". Scratch that apologetic part at the end though, haha.

Breaking News. Dak signs 5 year $175 million dollar contract for the...Dak Prescott and The Cowboys.

ha ha...

Haha I'm just being realistic man. Cowboys have no leverage. If they let him go he gets the money he wants from somewhere else, and they're SOL at QB. It's not a standstill... it's Cowboys holding him hostage since they can't meet his demands.

Your thing about "I wouldn't pay him that" doesn't matter because the people that ACTUALLY pay players will.

Yea i do not agree.

About which part? No one will give him 40? The Cowboys are in trouble at QB without him?

He is not worth 40mill, like i said. if he was..he would be signed already, if another franchise wants to sign him for that much more power to him and them..but i am sure we will see that not benefitting them in the long run..Dak could f around and see Watson or a Russell shake lose and Jerry go after them.

dumb franchises make desperate moves...like i said..just cuz he wants the money dont mean they gotta give him the money and they offer him a good amount now....Dak trying to be greedy over another 3 mill. F out here in my opinion.

Bruh, you're doing it again. Nobody's asking what you think he's worth. Were Stafford, Jimmy, or Cousins worth being the most expensive players in the league? No, but they got that money though right? The offseason before them Derek Carr signed a deal to be the highest paid player in NFL history. He worth it? No, but he got his money. Ok.... that's how things work. The proof is right there in those players that it's not just about how good the player is.

If he was worth 40 he'd be signed already isn't true either. He can only deal with 1 of 32 teams. Not like they let him hit free agency. Every offseason players leave their current team to go to a team that will pay them more.

Dak has unrealistic expectations on his per year average and everyone knows it.

I think Jerry is holding out hope that Dak eventually caves after playing on the tag for a 2nd str8 year.

I think Dak is dug in tho

Bruhhh. How are they unrealistic? I just told y'all in the past few years Carr, Stafford, Cousins, and Jimmy G signed contracts to be the highest paid players in NFL history. He's not being unrealistic by aiming to be the 2nd highest paid player in the league. He has a legitimate chance of getting the money.

Something is wrong with y'all, haha. You say somethings impossible... get shown multiple people that have done it already... then say it's impossible again.

Come on bruh. Those dudes weren't getting 40 million per year.

IMO Dak is NOT worth 40 million per year. And if Jerry thought he was he would have paid him that.

ok lemme ask u this...

Say Tom retires after next season. Dak is a free agent AND Tampa signs him to a 4 year deal at 40 mill per year.

Would u be cool w Tampa making that siging?
