2021 NFL Offseason Thread

It's really just gambling and hoping that Watt stays healthy

He's probably not thinking about retirement yet otherwise I think he'd go for a certain contender

Watt still had one of the highest double team rates in the league last season. Gonna see more one on ones playing alongside Chandler Jones

Boy This shit bout to Be Crazy, All I can Do is Laugh????

Time for some free agency talk/draft talk....

NYJ needs: QB, WR, CB, DE, OL, RB

We need to sign wr byron pringle, DE Dee Ford (once SF release him) and rb Jamaal williams.

I will bless yall with my NYJ 7rd mock draft later

@5th Letter

I know yall have been on pins and needles waiting for Marc123's NYJ 7 rd mock draft. Thank you for you patience.

Round 1, 2nd overall - Zach Wilson QB - the quality of competition is concerning. But dude has all the tools, passes the eye test and unlike Sam appears to have "some dog in him".
Round 1, 23rd overall (from Seattle) - Liam Eichenberg OT - Star RT. continue to fix the o line. Superbowl contending teams need stars at both tackle spots.
Round 2, 34th overall - Paulson Adebo CB - potential day 1 starter
Round 3, 66th overall - Patrick Jones II DE - moving to 4-3 defense. Could grow into a starting DE
Round 3, 86th overall (from Seattle) - Trey Smith IOL - interior o line depth. Could grow into a starter
Round 4, 97th overall - Marvin Wilson IDL - dude has potential to be a star DT. Decent backup at worst
Round 5, 129th overall - Keith Taylor CB - corner depth
Round 5, 132nd overall (from New York) - Tyree Gillespie S - since trading away Adams, we need a true strong safety. Take a flyer n see what happens
Round 7, 172nd overall - Anthony Hines III LB - middle LB depth

********Disclamer: I'm thinkin we get a 3rd n a 6th for Sam Darnold. Add to WR depth w those picks*********

Round 3 - Trevon Grimes WR - reminds me of a young, healthy Kenny Golladay.
Round 6 - Josh Imatorbhebhe WR - reminds me of a young, healthy Quincy Enunwa

Done and done.

No love for Fields? Lol

I like Fields a lot. But like a lot of QB’s it’ll matter where he gets drafted to.

My prediction is he go 19 or 20 to Washington or Chicago

What?!

So you expecting him to drop like a rock?

I too think he will drop but I dont think he goes past SF at 12 or Minnesota at 14.

And i wouldnt be surprised if mac Jones gets drafted b4 him. (fyi fields>mac imo. But I expect these white gms to over rate mac n under rate fields)

I think Fields floor is SF at 12 if the dropping reports are on point. I think it’s some smokescreen there though.

And I think the mocks are off on Trey Lance. I like Lance a lot (would love to have him on WFT) but I think once draft day comes he’ll be QB5 in terms of draft order. Just due to limited sample size. And Mac Jones hype going up.

Lawrence
Wilson
Fields
Mac
Trey

I think will be the order they’re selected in

Yep.

And Trey prolly has the highest ceiling of all of them, other than TLaw ofcourse

I got Mac > Fields.

I don’t believe in Fields or Trask this draft and Wilson is just solid to me.

I like Mac as my number 2.

I don’t have an opinion on lance
