Issue is NBA awards are voted on by a bunch of dick riders. Shits more of a popularity contest and the voters look for the "sexy" vote. Nh.
That makes it hard for small market teams to get looks. Theres a good chance Mike Malone gets overlooked for that reason.
Same reason PG13 not getting as much love as an MVP candidate as he deserves.
