The people who were allowed back were subject to medical screening and quarantining. I just wonder why u aren't aware of this.

Then through the month of February Trump did nothing. He declared a national emergency March 13th.

Also during that time Trump continued to downplay the virus.

He is in control of the nation’s preparedness and response. So really who cares what Biden and Pelosi has done.

I'm not defending trump, theres a lot of shit he did wrong n shit he didn't do. No argument there.

But what you're doing is deflecting. Trump did try something (travel ban), other powerful politicians turned it into a racial issue, media exacerbated it. It would be a lie to act like the media isn't influential af. But for some reason it's largely disregarded in this situation. Go figure.

Obviously trump has advisers. Fauci himself stated whenever they suggested some type of mitigation including lock downs trump always agreed with no push back. His words not mine.

There is a current partisan divide on the virus and response to it because of Trump.

So no, for the virus this isn’t a both side are bad, or the media is targeting just one side. We have his own words to back his inaction.

Not to mention this virus has disproportionally killed black people.

Yea trump is getting back all the bad energy he gives. The media treats him a certain way and it's Trump's fault. Agreed.

But they're also sensationalizing shit, asking dumb questions, taking shit out of context, while exacerbating the political divide.

Both things can be true. For some reason we tend to think "them bad. Us good." And never dig beyond that.

I think Los Angeles was a terrible place I couldn't wait to return to London I'm trying to go Hawaii when this over I'm doing everything in my power not to stop in Los Angeles. That just my personal opinion it means nothing in the grand scheme.

How is that deflecting when I went on to say he did the travel ban, then did nothing for a month?

To paraphrase, Fauci also said he can’t jump in front of trump When he says something confusing or wrong.

During that month he continued to downplay the virus.

I watched the pressers. When he was called on his words or his at minimum confusing messaging he would say things such as “that’s a nasty question“ And other comments.

Im trying to understand, so the media reporting his own words and actions has created this divide?

I was talking two diff things

Downplaying pelosi and Biden actions is the deflection.

Trump downplayed the virus agree

Pelosi and Biden telling people not to listen to Trump, come out to Chinatown and live normally, a month after travel ban....the same month u said trump did nothing, they were encouraging public gathering for business and festivities.

Media reports it, ppl are outraged by travel ban xenophobia of China, people listen.....Chinatown looked pretty crowded.

But u say who cares what Pelosi said or did she's not president.
