Again, it's either fuck it all or play the game within the rules that have been set. You don't get to have it both ways.

Obviously both scenarios are fucked up so that goes without saying but don't be telling people to sit on the couch while you're at the bank depositing your check from the federal government

What are their policies?

I personally can't just say fuck it. I have shit I'm personally vested in like my diabetes. If there is a candidate that will continue to lower the costs of medicines or cap them, that's an issue that personally impacts me. It might be one of many issues but it's not worth me to simply sit out cause both of them are trash candidates

But I also use this as a comparison for shit like school board member elections, taxes for schools etc... In local elections. Just because you don't have kids doesn't mean you shouldn't give a shit. You may have nieces or nephews or kids you mentor. But let's say you are just a loner and don't give a shit about kids at all. You should still have a say in how your tax dollars are being allocated.

Lots of these things tend to have ripple effects.
