Man saids he was the catch, didn’t even know shawty existed

If he or anybody sees themselves as a “prize” so what…. That person clearly understands their value and have high self-esteem

Imagine feeling a way cause someone values themself highly
Seeing yourself as “the prize” and understanding yourself are two completely different things.

To view yourself as prize is very self absorbed and concerning trait to have.

Bruh To you they are two different things. And to you it’s “self-absorbed”

Being confident in yourself and what you bring to any relationship isn’t concerning and if it concerns you that says more about you since you’re the one judging

Again, there is an inconvenient truth to this story that I don’t think a lot of our women want to acknowledge and admit. Do I personally believe he didn’t know who Simone Biles was? No. Can I prove that? No, so I give him the benefit of the doubt with him telling his story. A lot of women believe he’s trying to humble her, and that’s part of the subject I don’t think a lot of women are going to try and understand the nuance to it.

He actually gives her a lot of props for helping him grow.

I really don't like the term for either sex. If you are truly "the prize" that shit is all in your aura and how you carry yourself. If you have tell everybody how much of a prize you are then you're not it.
This is a very interesting take and I agree.

A lot of them ladies on social media say they are the prize or the table……and people tend to ask guys “how did you get her”.

I think people aren’t trying to let go or have a narrative redirected.

Now if this woman can go after the guy she wants outside of him having tons of money and being famous AND she’s happy…..them ladies don’t want questions coming to them as to why they can’t do the same.

Another thing, him saying she pulled him is an appreciation of her sensibilities and also implies that he “fell” which shows humility. Since when does a guy admitting he fell ever involve pride? 😅It’s amazing how much negative spin ppl can put onto something out of nothing. But that’s a reflection of the person in the mirror usually, it takes negativity to being negativity out of something positive. I really hope no one is in a relationship with these type of women because I know they catching the blues. lol.

I think it helps if they knew who and how he was.

A persons personality and how they are with their mate ca look one way when it’s not that way

Yeah Jordan definitely fell into the podcast/media trap and let his ego take over during that interview. These podcast folks want the sound bite over making the guest look good.

At this point they just need to let this blow over.

Yeah I listened to the whole interview and they kept laying traps lol.

lmao this is wild as fuck but im not joining the fray on this topic

I am just saying for reference purposes. Not sure where other men that think highly of themselves fall on that spectrum

When it comes to a guy being a catch, it means he’s prequalified, eligible and desirable to have a healthy romantic relationship with by most standards material and non-material. Being a “catch” doesn’t mean an exclusion applied to his woman. She can simultaneously be a “catch” but that should go without saying for a woman. If a woman isn’t a catch then why are we even at the table together, that’s ludicrous.

Now “the prize” has a tad different connotation. In general I don’t recommend a man positioning himself to be seen as “the prize” to a woman because it comes off as objectify-ish which betrays what a king’s position is about. lol. Also a woman technically shouldn’t objectify herself either saying she’s “the prize” unless she qualifies it saying who she’s the prize “FOR” and towards her man otherwise it means nothing.
