Folks are confounding bombing with lack of preparedness. At this stage of her career she should be prepared at a minimum.

If a joke bombs then what she thought might be funny just wasn't.

If she forgets her jokes she just wasn't prepared.

She wasn't prepared, and that's not acceptable for a stand up. If you really in it, you're working material for weeks or months before a big gig like that.

That's why Katt's point about it being handed to her rings true. She's not putting in the stand up work and still getting put on to different projects like crazy.

I'm not a Tiff hater and I'm glad for her success however she's getting it, but that doesn't make Katt's points any less valid.

Didnt watch the vid, but comedians have off nights. If she was paid for a big event that can't be any excuse though, she would have known she had to be there and should have had material ready for it.

Nah, bombing is jokes landing flat. Not remembering your jokes is a lack of preparation, particularly for an event this big.

You forget your jokes at the Laugh Factory, cool, you're probably working new material. But to miss this bad you're just not prepared. And that speaks volumes to your work ethic as a stand up comic.

And I'm speaking strictly from the stand up comic perspective, not her as an entertainer in other areas. And Katt's point was to it not being fair she's been handed roles when she hasn't proven herself as comedian.
