Nope not even that. At the most, people on your friends list that play the game, you can use their character in your party but it will be AI controlled.
Sucks, but its still going to be a great single player game.
Got 30 mins till i can start my game up.
Been playing since Thursday night basically lol. Got to level 17. Bouncing around doing quests in the capital and checkpoint.
It's been frustrating, but at the same time I like that the game doesn't make things super easy for you. No fast travel forcing you to explore. No guidance really for quests. Literally just figuring it out on your own. Adds a bit more to it for me.
I do wish I could dodge though.
Upgraded to a warrior. Really slow, but I like it. Kind of like playing a strength build on souls.
Also the pawn system is fucking DOPE.

Just walking around at night you have no clue what’s going to run into you and kill the pawg you created just to smash
On terms of fantasy setting, yeah it's like elder scrolls a bit. The playstyle is completely different though. Really can't compare how the game plays to anything else. It's got elements of different RPG games, but many that are pretty unique to itself.
Best way to describe it is it's a "hard-core rpg" not meaning its super difficult, but there are tons of stuff to consider such as weight, time, party set up, etc.

Yeah night time is pretty wild out there. Had to do a griffin fight at night and couldn't see for shit. Being a warrior had been helping a lot though. Able to knock the enemies off balance then jump on them and fuck them up.
Dealing with this frustrating ass quest where I have to talk to the magistrate in a dungeon but every time I go down there the guards attack me. Dunno if im supposed to go down there at a certain time or what. Been talking to so many people I can't remember wtf dude told me to do.
Also in checkpoint, had to save a kid that wandered off and got lost in a cave. By the time I found the damn cave 2 days in game had gone by and them wolves ate him. Aint had the courage to go back and tell his fam he dead yet. Might start with that this morning.
Yeah the time passing mechanic is very cool but it makes me rush instead of resting sometimes to save ppl and that’s when I gotta struggle to keep ppl alive
Also is there a way to heal your pawns? I tried to give them stuff or press “use” thinking it would let me select who to use the items on

I know I've done it once, but I think it may only work for your "main pawn". The one you create. Pretty sure what I did though was open item menu and "give" option to main pawn, then swap down to your main pawn hitting R2 in the item menu (so you can see their gear and what's in their bags) they while in there go to the potion and hit use.
I'm pretty sure, but not positive.
Another frustrating thing is the health not fully regenerating without resting lol. Was trying to hold off on resting so much I ran into an ogre but I didn't have hardly any health. Only like a 5th of my health was red bar. Ogre fucked me up and I had to go find a rest spot and return the favor when I was healthy lol
Also people been creative af with the pawns. I summoned a thief into my party named Jada. Chick looked EXACTLY like Jada Pinkett Smith. I'm talking exactly like her. Shit was hilarious but pretty crazy too.
