Welcome To aBlackWeb

What do you mean when we'll get another Black Panther? It's set up for the UN to approve an invasion of Wakanda. They'll use what happened in the Atlantic Ocean (by the Talocans), Boston and the "kidnapping" of a federal agent as cause
They've released a good portion of the film schedules I'm not expecting Black Panther 3 until at least 2025 or ev 26 is what I mean.

I enjoyed part 2 more..I think katz overhyped the first one which I thought was cool but I have never really wanted to watch it again. This one I would definitely rewatch.

But to each his own though.

I kinda agree with the sentiment that the first one is overhyped but it’s overhyped with great reason since it was a huge cultural & cinematic moment that we probably won’t see again all the while being a good film.

But I think this one is better in my opinion because of how they had to scrap whatever story they had planned before Chadwick passed & come up with something else. Even tho a lot of what we got was already what Coogler had in mind, I appreciate the creativity it took to get us here cause none of us had a clue what to expect once you take TChalla who was supposed to be the new front man of the MCU outta the equation.

I didn’t think they were weak. You have to remember Namor’s people were super powered due to them adapting to being under water people.

the fight wasn’t even at all and the people of Wakanda held their own pretty well.

Nah fam , The wakanda ship was basically overtaken and all the top fighters were surrounded. Shit even M'baku got the wind knocked out of him.

Even if Shuri kills Namor, the wakandans on the ship would have been done for. Namor just didn't want to die imo. He understood this is just one battle.

Hate it for em, But Namor and the fish people were superior imo. Wakanda adapted as quickly as they could against a new enemy.

Namor and the Aztec water ppl stole the show

Young T'Challa will most likely be upped through time shenanigans when Kang finally starts doing things.
I was just thinking that and when the whole Kang and secret wars saga ends get either aldis hodge or that other dude from 21 bridges for the role.

Do you guys agree or disagree with the Queen stripping Okoye of her rank?

Doing your job as well as you can under unexpected odds and still getting fired has to suck. Especially when your boss is clearly making an emotional decision.

On the other hand, they literally fought aliens from another planet. They, Okoye and Ramonda, should have been more prepared for the unknown. Shuri getting kidnapped was one of the most predictable things to happen in the movie.

I’m also glad they threw in that subtle line when Riri asked Shuri how she got so nice at science & she said TChalla taught her. TChalla was a genius in the comics, we didn’t see that in film. But they course corrected all that.
Now they wanna give him his flowers. They should've showed him as a genious from the get-go

Newsflash it's not a rivalry or direct competition guy. These are just film production companies. You never heard of TRI star pictures going at new line cinemas. I don't know what put that notion in y'all heads that this is a box office war.

In a perfect world it would be a rivalry between Marvel and DC but WB has contended with mismanagement that only Sony could relate to.

Moving thru that spear using the suit...since vibranium works like speed, I think that's the old DC Comics Flash trick...very smart and very nice comic touch.

A group of ladies go out on a Friday night, sounds like the usual lol

Just got back from seeing the movie it was pretty damn good. After rewatching Black Panther and going to see this new one. I want to say that Wakanda Forever is a slightly better than this better than BP.

My only real gripe was the fight with Namor and when he stabbed shorty with the staff. The next scene after that she's completely healed up when she's on the plane with Namor. Besides that little mistake everything was great
