PLAYSTATION PlayStation 5

Bruh, for the longest I couldn't understand why I was so trash at FPS and fighting games online, then I was able to switch to wired internet and I put the game mode on the TV and shit was like Goku throwing off the weighted clothes. lol
Hmmm maybe I should try game mode for battlefield and see if I perform better

(2k is the only game that required the downgrade for lag)

I was going to get a ps5 for "back 4 blood" but I saw they had it for ps4 as well. So I just got it for ps4. My gaming time has been resuced over the years so I can continue waiting on a ps5. I bought a gaming PC back in 2020 anyway

Also, they dont make many gaming monitors that big. You will find few that are 50". You will find more that are under 37". A good 32' monitor can cost as much as 70" TV. I hooked up my ps4 to my monitor and it saw the difference. I was playing a shooter game.

I cant play games sitting at a distance. I only do that when im watching tv

i should try this. Although putting wired on my PS5 would be hard since the modem is in a different room.

lol @ yall blaming ya "skills" on the tv 👀
I’m blind so it’s hard for me to sit back on the couch and play shooters despite having a 65 inch

and I will say, I tried battlefield on game mode earlier (which I never thought of doing because I didn’t get this TV and PS5 to make the picture look worse on purpose) and I did pretty damn good

No offense, but your skills aren't very high if you don't understand how the input lag on a TV would affect gameplay.

I'm not even trying to be insulting. It's just a reality that at certain skill levels you might not really going to see the difference a quarter of a second of input lag can make.

No offense taken at all bruh. The logic makes sense... im just saying for the majority of casual gamers... the monitor/tv aint gonna make for a drastic uptick in difference in how they play

That's true. If you play Marvel vs Capcom 3 and you constantly drop combos and don't know how to punish or setup strategies then turning on gaming mode won't do anything. However, if you know how to play the game and are playing against people who know to play, it makes a difference. That ~ quarter of a second of input lag you do away with can mean the difference between defending an attack or eating a combo that kills one of your characters.

It's a difference.

I've been way more accurate with the monitor.

Overall, I still don't think I'm that good.... But I'm much more accurate now. And I strongly value the difference. It's 100% worth it if y'all wondering.
