Welcome To aBlackWeb

Lil Durk's brother DThang shot and killed in Chicago nightclub

LOL can't blame that shit on The Chi or NO.

ATL been wild way before Katrina.

LOL at Southern love.
It's the truth tho. Atlanta always had its rough side but it's wasn't what it was now that's a fact. And yes Atlanta always been a playa party city now you got these out of town goofs fucking it up. Shit went left after Katrina and thats a fact.

Basically..... half the niggas in that pic gone too

This is exactly what I'm getting at. These niggas got "street" all fucked up. When niggas in the 90s was talking about street, they weren't just talking about constantly killing niggas over dumb shit. They were talking about elicit business, and sure violence was part of that, but it wasn't the primary goal. These cats in CHI seem to have no other objective than to keep these death feuds going on forever. They prop it up as if it's respectable, but its not. You might find something respectable about a dude that's out hustling and grinding and making it however he can. There ain't that much about that's respectable about cats prowling the streets everyday looking for a opp to kill until they themselves wind up being that opp that gets killed. That's just mass waste of life.

Not really.

crime in America was worse than now across the board in the 90's

There was all types of shit going on pre Katrina.

The house always wins,so if outta town niggas were doing shit they were doing it with ATL ppl in some way or had to deal with them.

It's not like pre katrina everybody was walking around singing Soul Food carrying apple pies to give slices to everybody they saw.

This is what's insane. Violent crime isn't just down a little since the 90s. It's plummeted since the 90s.

I always have a hard time believing that because it seems like we hear about shit so much more now. All I can come up with is that the information is more available, so we simply know more about what's going on now than before.

Ppl got away with more shit, less technology and etc.Cities were damn near wastelands and now those places are remodeled.

It's still dangerous now so you know it was wild then.

Even with these chi town gangs, a lot of those guys do get caught, just not the rappers as much as the entourage .

The reason why it looks worse as far as the chi and the new wave across the cities is we're seeing gang wars almost in real time.

Imagine if they had social media and the type of media we have now during specific gang wars between beefing sets in Cali.it would have been insane.

Or if they had social media during the dope and crack era in NY and Detroit.

The Chambers brothers had a public access show or slot back in like the 80's showing bags and stacks of money, drugs, and guns, taunting the police.if social media was around, them niggas would have been talking that same shit these niggas talk and they were savages.

This shit is a damn shame smh. Like all this little niggas are frail little kids without a gun these niggas wouldn't scare a fly but the environment they live in lack of fathers and education has destroyed these kids.

Regardless RIP to this young brother just another senseless killing that will spark more killings

Do older rappers in Chicago go through shit like this? Like Twista never heard about any beef or anything
Idk,but the reason why it's so crazy now is that the BDs are a splinter off of the GDs and that beef spilled over into the current violence over the last few decades.

I know it was poppin in the 90's on the streets but Chi town rappers weren't openly claiming gangs and being public active gang bangers either.

But most of the rappers were in or strongly affiliated with gangs.Yes even Common.

I think Twista's body guard got shot.I forgot the details .They burned him up too. Some wild shit

In the 90s the industry was afraid of real bangers so a lot of them downplayed their affiliations...and the music was about that at all...nowadays tho

I don't understand for the life of me why we get that much money and stay in the same city. It's a million different cities with a million different clubs with a million different women with a million different bottles and NOT ONE nigga you got beef with or who know someone you had beef with or connected to anyone you ever had beef with, yet we will go right back to the same city and think it's sweet because we moved to the other side of town.

Boosie gave every rapper or successful street dude a billion dollars worth of game after Mo3 or whatever got capped: get out your own city. No one there really wants to see you succeed because all they thinking when they see you is why not me. It'll start as love and turn into resentment even if you just connected to the successful person from the block.

RIP to the homie. Street nigga or not.

Jay Z gave these street dudes like Lil Durk, who are becoming bosses in their own right, all the knowledge on how to manuever being a famous street rapper.

"If I shoot you, I'm brainless, if you shoot me, you famous."

Stop beefing dusty hood dudes that ain't in your tax bracket. Like, you going on 30, why you shouting out dead opps like you are a 17 year old gang banger? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's cute, I fucks with the shit, but it's stupid.

You can't even do nothing, you already got a case on you for a shooting. You can't even beef how you need to beef with these dudes. So why bother mentioning Chicago gangland shit? I would be in Beverly Hills, getting my dick sucked by exoticals. I wouldn't give a fuck about no dusty ass street dudes in Chicago, beefing within a 2 block radius. All my people that I care about, would be far away from some stupid ass street shit. I would live in the Whitest, richest parts of the country, because I'll be damned if I survive Chicago, make all this money, and fucking get killed by some no name gangbanger.

Everybody close to Durk getting gunned down, it's time for Durk to re-evaluate his lifestyle and the mentality of the people around him.

Are we trying to get rich and live a life that wasn't in the cards for us, or we trying to keep it real and die?

That's the saddest part about most rap deaths. In alot of cases these guys survive extreme levels of poverty and negative circumstances. To get rich and get themselves in a position to get away from all of it and then get gunned down or OD. Imagine being a parent and witnessing your child overcome all that and feelin relieved, only to see that type of outcome.

you can leave your city and still get killed . look at pop smoke , biggie etc . you just find to change the people around you

But I think too the energy of “these niggas gonna hate” even before a miggas gets on to get haters is a serious problem. Niggas want somebody to hate them they like it they wanna be the mafia boss with clout
