Are you still listening to R. Kelly?

NWA went to the White House and had dinner with him. Cube even torched them muhfuckas for it.

They still got a movie, tho....

a movie 35 years later lol ok so like blackrain was saying you got one person out of 100s who actually been cancelled so why all this complaining?

I'm sorry, what did Eazy do that was illegal? He got grief, too...

Ye too, now that we're making a list.

so being ok with racist politics although not illegal shouldn’t be frowned upon? What is your point here because cancel culture came out after 2010 so a lot this stuff not relevant. If you don’t wanna be judged for who you listen too then ok

Turn the radio on. Go back to the club. They play that "Up" shit. They were blasting W.A.P. all last summer. Fuck you mean?

Wasn’t talking to you. I was waiting on folks to say they ain’t listening to her either.

Calm the hell down

Tory Lanez situation happened just recently tho the big pun thing which a lot of people never saw happened over 20 years ago. Now if big puns pees were on some hypocrite shit that’s wrong. But a lot of folks who went at Tory never listened to pun. Unless they from nY
This guy was VERY vocal about tory lanez situation

However he wants to work with professional woman beater Dr. Dre and eminem who stay making music about killing women and beating them up, also he beat Kim.

People are just hypocrites and as OP said "they're only vocal when the entire world is"

at the end of the day all these high profile folks got skeletons in they closet

thing is people pick and choose who to cancel.

if its somebody they fuck w/ then they'll just ignore it until they're forced to face it

nigga if youre ignoring decades of sexual assault because bump n grind gets your palms moist, youre a weirdo

Wasn’t Chrisette Michelle “cancelled” by the black community for performing at Donnie Dickhead’s inauguration? She opened stated that performance pretty much destroyed her career.

Tell me: what was illegal about her activities to warrant that backlash?

So you just ignore the other part of the last sentence that also mentions things that aren't illegal but tied to otherwise very much frowned upon acts? You know damn well any Black person who came out in support of Trump caught serious backlash for that. And it wasn't the performance as much as her attempted explanation that pissed off her fan base.

Step In The Name Of Love is really it. That's a timeless classic I really enjoy even when it's being covered. All that other stuff I'm perfectly fine passing up. Most of Kelly's giant hits are ear sores for me anyway from being over played in my life and that was before the doc really opened my eyes on his issue. Ignition, Bump and Grind, I Believe I Can Fly, Trapped In The Closet...all these joints get automatically skipped or changed if they came on.
