Possibly, but even then I don’t think there’s ever been a concerted effort and if there was to what end? And to what extent would it work? I don’t think it would work on a massive scale.

I think most media is trying to get you to spend money and that’s where the majority of the effort lies in conditioning, though I leave open the door to the possibility of other forms of conditioning.

Sexuality, violence etc. the science behind it is the same.. However, there isn't catch-all effect, age (which is a major one), brain acuity, and other exposures, whether through other works of media and via personal experiences all play a part in just how effective it is.

The difference is that the younger the viewer, the far more likely sexual content is to have the desirable effect (from the transmitters/producers POV), in comparison to violent content.

I been reading along as this threads goes page for page and I've been wondering how some of yall day to day lives are like, considering how you guys find a conspiracy or agenda in everything.

Are phallic foods like hotdogs or popsicles off limits? Does the media you consume have to be prescreened so as to not unexpectedly come across a dick or something homoerotic? Do you do a 180 if you see an openly queer person in the same grocery aisle?

I’d agree, but the sexual part I’d think is more in relation to influencing sexual activity, not necessarily sexual preference.

I could be wrong, but sexual preference seems to be such an innate thing that I’d think it would be hard to change one’s sexual preference simply through media manipulation.

He’s not smart enough to debate intelligently so to get some sort of “win” he has to deflect to my mixed heritage.

It’s quite typical for someone who stands on the sidelines and only talks online. He’s not a black man, he’s a scared little boy acting like his warped idea of what a black man is.

I am actually raising a black family, I’ve actually helped black people, I’ve actually hired and employed black people, I’ve actually helped black communities. He’s done nothing but talk shit online. He ain’t been in the field and his rhetoric is proof.
