It's possible we don't ever get the answer to this especially with how China is treating it. The wild shit to me is scientists alleging the lab leak have been there from the start but for whatever reason the zoonotic infection was getting all the support and regurgitated by US media & Fauci

The reason the zoonatic hypothesis is gettin' most of the attention is because its most likely. There are many zoonatic diseases all over the place and it makes the most sense.
The article says that the virus would have come from bats even if it was leaked from a lab anyway (a feasible claim, though one for which he provided no evidence at all) so lab or no the virus is zoonatic
Either way, this virus came from bats. Did a Chinese lab accidentally leak it? Very possible. Does that change anything? Not really
It's impossible to say it changes nothing til we get all the details. If lab leak occurred could it have been an accident? Sure.
But there's a diff between "zoonotic is most likely" vs push back on investigating another likely hypothesis. We can find out if it leaked, why it leaked, and why there was so much resistance to even investigating that hypothesis.

No, if it was leaked from a lab yours and my day to day lives are not impacted at all, neither would the roll out of the vaccine nor would the need for the vaccine change.

There is no resistance to investigation except from China.
Though again, as the article you posted points out, the virus transferred from bats to humans. The lab would be a middle man, if it did indeed come from a lab.

If it's from gain of function research that changes the focus of the convo. None of the 'lab leak' scientists are assuming ill intent besides Chinese government resistance.
Fact is there are established scientists that pushed for this investigation from the start. They aren't conspiracy theorists. Yet media referred it as such before it was even ruled out.

Some Chinese people lack spatial awareness for some reason, so this hypothesis of the virus leaking out of lab in Wuhan isn't farfetched. They been talking about a worker at the virology lab could have been infected and went to the wet market in Wuhan and spread it since the beginning of the pandemic.

Just because people think it didn't come from a lab and they happen to be on TV it doesn't mean that same person doesn't want an investigation.

Callow and naive people will read these headlines and take shit at face value not realizing these are multinational companies that literally spent - and profit - billions on marketing and are represented by powerful industry lobby groups from The Hague to Washington.
Moderna doesn’t care about your children nore the pandemic, theyre currently fighting your national government cause they don’t wanna give up the vaccine patents eventhough they received goverment/taxpayer subsidies from countries worldwide to develop said vaccine lol.
They’re setting up and securing government and private contracts/orders consisting of 100s of millions of doses of vaccine for 2022,23 etc.
