I'm comparing it to the dc animated movies where they definitely hone in on the detective side of batman.
Even the Fox cartoon focused on it. The movies seem to just chalk his ability to find criminals to him being rich with unlimited resources

The always running, but true joke about Batman is he is always prepared, ALWAYS!!
Of course there are some comic iterations where he was out smarted but the bit I've read it's very, very, very rare.
In a story if this scale... The only difference is him having some contingency that everyone thought he was low key sneaky about...
Which they actually had during the cinematic version funny enough.... He had Alfred bring Lois in case Supes woke up crazy....
But I think he was still up to something because of the whole "something darker" mention when it came to Lois. Y'all right in the sense that he typically has contingencies on top of contingencies.... But again I think we would have saw that with him having actual prep time... He had limited prep time in Snyder cut.... But he was able to
1. Develope a gauntlet that can defend against superman heat vision
2. Work with cyborg to get the big ship running
3. The person who actually came up with the plan when they fought Steppenwolf.
Bruce quarterbacks the whole movie....I feel like the cinematic version have him and wonder woman wanted Superman back to lead them... Where as Snyder had then bring him back for his strength alone.
And even when everybody else was having doubts.... He.... The physically weakest damn near forced them to do it.
Aquaman was strong enough to wreck bruce, and also did it in the beginning.... But he still just took orders from him during the battle...
I dunno...I definitely think he displayed that "we're going to do it my way, and only my way" characteristic in this cut... Which is normally how Batman always operates.

It's not going to happen but you can't leave darkseid unresolved thats just too big. They dont even have to world build like the mcu becausee the mother boxes habe been separated. Theres no other mcguffins out there that's needed to set things up and connect the dots. Darkseid said he was going to use the old ways meaning a straightt up invasion. I think if they were to do a sequel the next big bad should be darkside . it should be vandal savage and they should borrow from young justice were he made an ancient pact with darkseid and he would have intergang working under him and maybee they introduce Orion and big barda along with the furies and granny goodness that is if itss to happen

Thats another MINOR gripe I have with this movie... when Superman was fuckin everybody up at the memorial..
Batman... who is right next to a buncha cops that have their guns trained on Superman is like "Clark ... wait.. This isnt you Clark.. Hold up Clark!!"
The Lois ass shows up and shouts "Clark" as well.
I guess to hell with the secret identity cuz each and every one of them cops heard that shit lol

I doubt it will happen but it would be dope if Snyder could get Cavill, Afleck and Fisher back on board and they have contingencies in their contract that the studio cant fuck with the vision like they did before.
DC/WB gotta be seeing all the praise the Snyder cut/original vision is getting and in turn how much money that would generate for them.... smh

Yeah, it's not happening. Zack Snyder already came out and said they were done but even if WB decides to bring Snyder back he has damn near been online giving away the story on how he would handle the sequels.

I watched this again on HBO Max over the last 3 days and my rating has changed on it a little bit. The OG Justice League trash that WB sent to theaters was just that: TRASH! I thought the visual effects were way better in the Synder Cut than the original. Flash didn't look like he was trying to run or glide on skates when it showed him running. Flash had some cool moments but some weird moments (like when he saved Iris from the car accident). Batman wasn't getting washed & smacked around by para-demons in the original film. Cyborg was truly the star of the film had a very important role in this version of the movie.
I still don't get what the hell WB execs/Whedon was thinking when they butchered the OG cut. Something tells me Whedon watered down that version to give it Marvel like vibe or something especially the mid credit scene w/Flash racing against Superman.

At the end of the day what would this had been for? If a studio can see sequel potential best believe that's the plan.
Obviously some relationships need to be amended but I can't see them leaving this on the floor.
