I was the original uber. I used to ball out on gas money.
That's back when 10 dollars would fill you up and I would charge people who rode with me ten dollars a week. That was about 6 mfs. Not to mention the "I need a ride to the store" people.

I loved rock/metal, dressed like a skater, two of my besties were "skinheads" and I had to snap them outta that. Most my other friends were nerds, neighbors, or friends from my team.
My HS made the news for two weeks straight over race riots. Went from black vs white to black vs Mexican to everybody vs everybody else real quick. I was always tryna mediate. Told everybody they were being stupid.
I was in Gate, then in International Baccalaureate so I stayed doing homework and talking about history with people. Played volleyball in hs and club volleyball so I stayed busy. Also did track.
My teachers loved me. I was a teachers pet my whole school career, even in college. CC not at UCLA. By the time I got there I was ovvvveeer it. Started slacking. Was pretty quiet. Dropped. Regretted not going straight to a four year after HS cause I woulda done much better if I had.
Idk I was pretty normal. Same as now I suppose.

Shhiiiiiiieeeettttt...gas was 87 cents when I was in school. Rode to the mall wit a neighborhood friend, and he literally put 87 cents in the tank. Got us to and back from the mall wit NO problems. Lol
I'm still young. Lol!
Gas was 1.80 at the most when I was in high school.

Everything some one did that fascinated me, I would bug the shit out of them till they told me more...
That's why I always say my lack of popularity was puzzling, cuz I had great individual relationships with people... Just didn't fit in with any of the cliques or groups

I was quiet and didn't have many friends but I got along with ppl in high school. I was sheltered as a kid due to my disability [cerebral palsy] (look it up) but I enjoyed going to school. I did have periods where my grades did drop but I never had to go to summer school. I graduated with a 3.5 GPA.

Yeah I think gas was still 99c starting when I was in high school and this was a few years before 9/11.

Yea I grew up in GATE... But I was strange. I would regularly self educate, but always on things I wanted to learn, never the class subjects. I'd read almanacs and online encyclopedias as a past time...
So I was pretty well educated and well rounded than most students my age and it was pretty apparent... People regularly ask me what university I graduated from to this day lol
