I see t his earlier and it made me think of that pic with Kapernick and Diddy. Cause you got to understand how evil the world is to understand what that pic represents.

Here this guy, raised by white parents but in tuned with who he is as a black man. Coming into his own and peeps the injustices invoked upon black people.

One day he has an thought that he’s going to take a knee during the anthem to protest that this anthem that speaks on how america is great and just. Isn’t great and Injust to people of the same race as me.

So he does, gets press, probably way more than he thought his stance would get. He gets anger and defiance. He grounds him greater in his stance and he pushes in deeper. Knowingly, knowing this would hinder his career in a way.

The blowback is stronger, now it’s he’s sacrificing his career. He’s a just brother, he sees the deeper meaning. He owns it, he takes trips to the mother land to gain a deeper connection to his roots.

He gains deeper understanding of himself and watches what he started be mocked, bastardized, spoof,..all bad things. He still pushed forward. Now comes the meetings with “black leaders” this people wouldn’t make nearly the same sacrifices he made.

This people tho upset with the injustice, in a way...accept this is life. They little by little make things better for those around them but for the most part play the game. They aren’t as idealistic at Kap. They see the promo and dollars in what Kap is doing.

They know, the pressures on this young mans shoulders. Here he is, made a just move and now sacrifice, for the rightful cause he believes in. He’s asked to be a man that no man can be 247-365.

While the rest of us keep being the flawed individuals we are. They know at some point the same crowd that holds him up will tear him down. And they want all the good they can get before that happens.

So here’s Kap, meeting with black leaders, he gets that somethings not right but he’s so idealistic he doesn’t listen to his gut. He’s on top of the world. He took a stand, made a sacrifice, and the community he did it for adores him.

In his mind, this is a tipping point in history, black brotherhood, black life matters, we...will..not..succumb to white supremacy and all that white supremacy pours into America.

Then he wakes up after a thanksgiving where family and friends adored him the whole night and sees this. And this at that moment becomes the first chink in his armor of belief in the justness of what he’s doing.

Won’t belong before the “black leaders”...corrupt him

I seen this story before

This the speech the revived MLK from The Boondocks would have gave.

Kendrick and cole first, but if the Nas & AZ project was executive produced by Alchemist, it'll be tied for 1st.

Nas and AZ would be second.
Royce and Joe would be third

I don't fuck with Em, Beans, jada, Wayne, Juelz or Cole.

Kim don't got it any more so that's a no

I'll never understand what niggas see in Nyquil Cole, that nigga is so fucking boring
I think to a lot of us think he’s trash because we’ve been fortunate to see and hear what he’s doing. Done better and by better artist. Where as with these kids, he’s their Da La Soul, he’s their tribe called quest, he’s their queen latifah..who u calling a bitch..u feel me?

It’s like i grew up going to the boys and girls club wit my friends and watching mike go toe to toe wit the knicks, Da magic, the rockets, the jazz.

So I never got how people even could compare Kobe to mike. Don’t get me wrong, Kobe emulates with good accuracy what mike was..

But he isn’t even near the same realm, the competition wasn’t nearly the same. Dudes that was starting on teams during the Kobe, Lamar, and Paul Gasol era wouldn’t even sniff playing time during the mike era.

Ron Harper would be a superstar in that Kobe era
