I still think the government should pay for and provide any African Americans to be able to track back their lineage as far as possible... and those families that profited off of slavery should be the first ones to pay out cash reparations to descendants of those slaves.

Free higher education, investing into notoriously and intentionally underserved and over-policed black communities.. and of course.. money from the government as well. I wont go as far as to say pay no taxes at all, but it should be a flat rate, and the lowest tax rate for African Americans.

I think it would be feasible for those large companies that stole there ideas from a black person. That person’s descendants should get super paid. We know a white man ain’t come up with the 11 herbs and spices for KFC. And there’s the black man responsible for the Jack Daniels bourbon formula if I’m not mistaken.

And if we go your route, then they’d probably keep it to wages owed to our descendants adjusted for inflation. Which would still be a grip.

True..there's mad banks and insurance companies with ties to slavery. With some work, I would imagine that shit shouldn't be too hard to track down. Like folks say.. "follow the money".

I dont think it should be just limited to those large companies though. There are folks that may not necessarily own or have a stake in large companies but are still sitting on fortunes built off of slave labour. Their pockets need to get hit.

@Dwayne and @Allah_U_Akbar , it’s not a competition to see who lost more. All of us are owed for what we’ve lost and what we’ve endured.

I’d say yes, the Native Americans lost a lot in terms of land and life, but at least they got to fight for it and on their own turf. We were snatched up or given away to whites, brought to a foreign land, then worked for free, beaten, killed, stripped of our dignity, cut off from our ancestry, etc.

It’s really no comparison in my eyes when it comes to suffering cause we had it worse, but all non-whites have a claim against whites for what they stole.
