This shit might not even crack 100 million when it’s all said and done. I was rooting for the DCEU but this ain’t a good look.
People don’t wanna see all women
People don’t wanna see a movie in the same world as suicide squad
People probably don’t look at Harley Quinn as a person that can carry a movie as a character
Especially with other women that nobody knows about

The price of a brick goin up…
It’ll probably reach that thanks to the worldwide gross. It’s still not a good look for them at all. Domestically it was projected to make almost 50 million. I honestly think they should of waited until the spring or towards the end of the summer to drop this. Even tho this whole movie really shouldn’t exist in the first place. No one gives a shit about the Birds of Pray & Harley is a good character but not good enough to not be involved with Joker & Batman.

There should have been a cameo from one of them and probably would have been had both actors not been ousted from the DCEU. They better hope Wonder Woman does numbers again.

It's about the same. Bad Boys 3 gets the edge because they black but I wouldn't watch either movie again.

See my problem with the suits in charge of the DCEU film division at WB is that they continue to get in their own way. They were on a roll when they dropped WW, Aquaman, & Shazam! then they put together a movie where there was no demand for (like Suicide Squad).
WB has spent $84M on budget to only get back a $33M return at the box office. Now you put yourself up for more negative scrutiny from DC fans and causals movie goers with future DCEU films. This film should have been dropped on the cutting room floor.
I give it at least another week or the end of the month and this movie is done.

They'll make their money back.
The movie itself was actually good. No one got in anybody's way for this movie.... It just didn't have the drawing power they were gambling on. But overall it's still a good effort. I think they'll be okay

Sonic the Hedgehog drops this weekend and I don't see it doing that well either.
The trailer was trash and the director just really didn't use a lot of the source material. The original Birds of Prey show that use to come on the old WB Network had a better premise than this movie and went with the actual ideas from the comics.

I’m not I still wanna see the movie but 2nd week is usually not good for movies it’ll go down by at least 60% make around 14 million. Sonic then That movie that Issa Rae is in Is taking the 1 and 2 spot next week
