It’s hard for a broken man to build strong children
I'm a firm believer in....if you know what didn't work. You know what does.

I can never say a guy can't be a good father because he didn't have one.

Of you know what you didn't have and wanted...you have the tools to provide it because you know first hand

Those people are selfish and full shit about the change they want to live and see.

I'm far from selfish but nobody can buy coats for every black child in america that don't have one. So with that said if I want a benz and can afford one all the while helping my community. I ain't about to not get myself that benz just cause I can't help everybody.

If that is your stance I can respect that is for you. But the next man who doesn't feel that way ain't wrong or selfish.
I wasn't clear. You are right that is me. I won't fsult The next man for not sharing my passion but I will fault for not even trying.

You are not obligated but people ain't gotta act like they don't see a problem just because they got a bit.

Are you actually right for faulting someone for not even trying though? I ask that question because although it's great when folks help their fellow man, woman or kids in need. Yet the fact remains nobody is obligated to do that.

No nigga, WE ain't drop the ball, the collective of our adult generation from the 70s did. We had all kinds of political movements going but in the end niggas traded their Black Power signs for good weed and house parties.

All that blame it on the men is wack for one simple reason. Them niggas couldn't have done what they did without willing participants. It was the sum of bad choices on both sides, along with plenty outside sabotage that got us here.

Now I'm all for men being men, but being a man is under attack and has been for a while. You got a bunch of women running around telling men what they need to be doing and trying to define manhood when they can't.

So us real men, ignore all that and do what we do. We take care of our families, we treat our wives with respect and support them. We raise our kids and try to help our community.

All the while there's a complete opposite force telling us we're being toxic, misogynistic, controlling etc and we got sistas like this bird out on tour.

We can't lead those who don't want to be led. Some just gonna have to get left behind. But all this stepping up stuff needs our sistas to be willing participants. They gotta have our backs when we do.

Has to be a two sided attack, otherwise we get shit like this:

Awwe shit Titan ain't playing.

If the 70s dropped the ball, what generation picked it up? Shit...I grew up in the 90s, we kicked the ball down the street, and the 2000's

Well the crack epidemic after that so we're just really getting around to recovering from that. Shit was an A bomb on our community. I became a teenager in the 90s, and I believe the positive black imagery and awakening that was going on mos def helped to influence my generation to try and get it together.

Like I said in an earlier post tho, it will take a two sided approach to get where we need to be. And it's not going to happen overnight. We can only change so much in one generation so we also gotta be working toward the betterment of our grandkids kids.

we are the target and face of everything bad. just like black women are the face of thot-ism and hoe behavior.

we all know white chicks been blowing since grade school yet our women get labeled hoes....an dudes kinda help it along with music.

but black men will always be placed in the bad spot because no one stands up for us.
some of us dont even stand up for us.

she should not feel that comfortable saying shit like that.
when that dude called black women pitbulls or whatever....damn near everyone went at him.

yet.....we stand alone.
black women should get at her.

but we are only needed for protection when they fuck up. oh wait...we dont even do that right.

smdh

hug yall daughters AND sons
Black women did take issue with the comment tho. You just dont pay attention lol.

Black women be organizing and fighting for yall on everything.

Black women do organize shit, just look at this interview here

This basically summarizes my point. Early on, they pat themselves on the back for doing marches in support of black men, and then move on to lying about black men. If in one breath you say black men are being unfairly demonized and then in the very next breath, you say black men are demons, which message are we supposed to accept as truth. We already know which one white people believe, so any mixed messages will just feed into the narrative they already push.

Yall using these 2 women to talk about all of us?

:hahaha:

How did you get that from my post?

You pointed out how women organize for black men, and I gave an example of how women organizing for black men doesn't mean that they aren't doing damage to black men and it doesn't mean the sum total of their actions is supportive. Nowhere did I imply that those two chicks are representative of all black women.

Don't be disingenuous. You've never struck me as that kinda poster.

No becauase she tries to make this an issue exclusive to black men despite a non black woman telling her men of all races do the same shit. That's the main issue. She's taking the issue of men cheating and making it a "black men only" thing when men just cheat in general

Shit, not just men..... people in general cheat.

In all these other countries where prostitution is legal do folks seriously think only single people procure their services? Lol. Trust me, it's a ton of infidelity going on worldwide from all different types of people and it's mostly being done with non professionals. Lmao.

People are so quick to romanticize the unknown that they overlook what's in front of them.

The biggest difference between African American (notice I didn't say BLACK) folks and every other type of people is we are quicker to put our business out there for public consumption. Honestly that's just Americans as a whole.

This thread and the Ari lennox stuff is so frustrating reading/keeping tabs on because African American folks are so quick to bash each other publicly for outsiders entertainment!! I kinda agree a little with one thing Ari Lennox stated about feeling like "black (African Americans in general) people hate each other." It totally comes across like that if you mostly pay attention to social media anyway. SMH. I know that isn't totally the case but African American (and Americans in general) people need to realize that it isn't anything wrong with exercising a little discretion. Everything you do in your life shouldn't be for the public's consumption.
