Shane Battier, Evan Turner and Emeka Okafor etc was supposed to be “more NBA ready” than most of the players in their respective draft classes.

Kris Dunn was he drafted 15 years ago? Jabari Parker? Kaminsky? You’re drafting players based on potential ain’t no such thing as “NBA ready”, it’s one big ass crapshoot.

what your example of a player that was considered a project but if he realized his potential he’s gonna be great?

Why we shitting on Knox?

Kid 21 and clearly improved from last year. His big issue is defense but he'll figure that out.

Plus kid 21 and only 12 games into his second season.

@Beta your superstar at age 21 was still in college and in his 2nd year in the league averaged 8 points. He was 24.

@King Freeman your superstar at age 21 wasnt in the nba and in his 2nd season averaged 7 points. He was 23.

These two mfers were ready to play and wasnt drafted on potential?

They were drafted for their ability to make it work their grind none of which buddy has.

You don't just become better that takes actual hard work and commitment.

So no I'm not going to give buddy a chance cause that type of shit is in your DNA. Jimmy and pascal were making it regardless.

You think you can just speak that kind of grind into existence. Not how it works bud.

It's real sweat equity over here. Hopefully your team drafts someone that can show you what that's about.

What about Knox shows you that he aint put in work?

Dude came back bigger and with a much smoother jumpshot and a consistent 3 point shot.

What makes you think he aint put in the work and gon continue doing so?
