Official 2019-2020 NBA Thread

I was watching some of the Kings Suns game last night and Im not saying either team will be good this year but both teams are built in a modern ass way.

Both young teams that have shooting and passing ability at all times at all 5 positions on the court. Everyone on the floor can shoot deep 3s and everyone has decent enough vision to find the open man. No one really dribbles the ball much, except Booker on the Suns, but even hes been dribbling way less and passing more this year.

Its the same thing the Nets were doing till this year, but the Kings have even more shooting.

And again, neither team is great this year, and both organizations suck, but you can tell they had a vision in mind and built their team following it.

Shit fucking hurts me as a Knicks fan. Thats why im saying all this shit. You got 2 trash organizations that cant get out of their own way and even they built a team following a modern vision and we spent the offseason signing 5 pfs that all do the same shit.

Would have loved to build out a team with nothing but shooters at every position and have RJ run with them and eventually be the guy who takes games over when needed in a few years and instead I got a team that signed Elfrid Payton, Randle, Morris, Taj, and Bobby Portis. Not a shooter amongst them. Morris and Portis are streaky and can hit shots but they aint shooters.

Tired of the Knicks man.
 
I wanna see what happens with Phoenix when Ayton comes back

Do they split the mins with Baynes or do they bring ayton off the bench

It depends on where they are with wins. If they get back on track and are a few games above .500 before ayton comes back, you cant start him over baynes imo.

You play him a decent amount of minutes and give him a chance to earn his starting spot back but you dont start him imo

I get it but nobody cares that Ayton was the #1 pick

Suns need to have some balls and tell old face Andre to come off the bench but he can play the bulk of the mins at 28

Why do they have to do that? It’s not like Ayton was showing bust potential before he got suspended. He had a very good (underrated) rookie season, came into this season with the goal to show improvements on defense. If he is going to be part of your future core, he needs to start with Booker so u can have a good idea of the fit.

I am saying this bcos I don’t think they are making the playoffs. But if u really think they have a shot at the playoffs, maybe they should do things your way.
 
The only reason I say you dont start Ayton till you can see you can with him starting is because the suns been struggling for years.

And then you see they are lets say 3 game over .500 with Ayton out, you cant risk the fact the chemistry you finally built.

I know ownership wont stand for that and force he starts though.

At first I was thinking this was fools gold but I don’t think so kinda anymore.

I think to maintain what they have been doing they should keep things the same but when Ayton comes back just play him off the bench FOR NOW until he shows that it’s better for the team that he starts. And no not just potential but he was a decent young big man on a bad team and if you remember I said it prior to the season started that everybody forgets about Ayton as far as his expectations as a player and #1 pick

Fultz bum ass got more juice than Ayton

Ayton is cool but is he making the suns win with his game at the moment? We’ll see

They should try to trade him but everything happening is an anomaly they will just revert to being the fuck ass suns and be out the playoff race by asg.

I do agree about trading him while his stock is high

for the first time in Devin booker’s career the suns might still be in playoff contention in Dec don’t mess this up for him lol
 
Going to be an interesting decision for Monty Williams

Suns desperately want to make the playoffs

Like I said before 48 minutes of strech 5 play between Baynes and trash ass Kaminsky completely changes the Suns offense but Ayton was pretty good in the one game he played and if you're invested in him as a number 1 pick you cant really afford to bring him off the bench

I like the idea of trading Ayton too though @King Freeman
