Not only did you not know what it is, you didnt even do a quick google to see what it is to argue against it. "If the bill says..." nigga it's right there. The word minorities is nowhere. So what other excuse are you gonna throw out to avoid doing something for a cause you believe in...

Native Americans ain't exactly riding the wave of prosperity bruh. As for Jewish folks and Japanese folks their situations in this country can't be compared to black folks history so that's also a bad comparison. They've been allowed a proximity to whiteness same as Italians, Irish folks and any other non black person gets and that even shaped how they were discriminated against when it did happen.

Native Americans have land, that's a big wave there. Native Americans get free rides to school and all types of benefits, most of the Native Americans are not even real Native Americans. You can't come on Native American soil and build, or run a freeway through it, vs Black neighborhoods. You can do whatever in it.

Japs and Jews won't be compared and can't, and shouldn't, but yet they have both received payments and get all types of tax breaks and capital opportunities that black folks don't get.

All what I am saying are facts and not opinions, you can take about 10-15 minutes and research what I am saying later on.

However you want to paint the picture, point being, those groups have gotten reparations and we have not. Those groups were not told how to spend their money when they received their payments, those groups are still thriving from the opportunities that were given to them by the US gov't

Again, these are facts and can be researched, Opinions and feelings can't be researched

lol cant keep screaming "we want reparations" and then be dismissive of the bill whose whole purpose is to study and COME UP WITH REPARATIONS PROPOSALS FOR AFRICAN AMERICANS.

If this aint the move.... How would YALL that are calling bullshit on this propose they calculate how reparations are distributed then? What form would those reparations take? Specifics please

That's literally the point of the bill...to study the effects of slavery and make proposals. Even tariq has said reparations should be organized and simply cuttin niggas a check ain't gon get it done. Theres literally no point in reparations if the foundation of the country is the same at every level.

I've never believed we getting reparations so this conversation is really not even for me. But it's laughable that niggas that want this so badly have no idea what's being done to address it, then when presented with information of what's being done will cast it off because of 1 or 2 words....and swear they're being helpful.

You may want to research some of your facts then especially about Native Americans and redefine what you think thriving means
