Welcome To aBlackWeb

Who hit who first?

why you say that?
Because whatever industry appeals to whatever demographic they should be the main ones trying to control or run it. If black women are spending billions of dollars on hair care per year then shouldn’t they be looking to be the ones running the industry? I mean it’s both Asian men and women that runs that industry but you focus on the black men.

at the end of the day...black men are the guides to our community.

black men should run it or maybe black women should run it...
but it should be a black man that instills this in the minds of his children. while i understand that a woman can do it as well....the lack of men can weaken our women.

the reason i focus on black men is because we are dropping the ball and it hurts us all.
women have a specific job in the households like men have specific jobs..
women cant do certain things and men cant do certain things...and some things we shouldnt try to do because it upsets the balance of a community.

I agree with your premise. But first and foremost it starts with having a code. We don’t have a code, that’s why those women are out there buying from that shop. And even if collectively black men and women opened beauty supply stores all across the country, we still don’t have a code anyway so the same thing would continue to happen.

i agree.....

but the codes must be set by men.
niggas aint got no typa codes....money trumps everything....fuck dignity, family, and at times safety.

WE black people don’t have a code collectively. For example black men and women were protesting against that store and you STILL had certain women going up in there to buy stuff. Why did those women not follow the lead, or the code set by those black people protesting?

because honoring a system starts at home.

at certain ages most kids will push back against the mother....but when the father is present...its less likely.
certain shit have to be instilled in kids and thats what they take into adulthood.

thing is....it must be alot of men...a few here and there will get swallowed up by the rapid rise of fuckery.

So how did this start? Because this convo could turn in another direction. But one of the many issues with black people is that we don’t think black first, we think as if despite being black we’re different because we are XYZ, either way there are people that are out there trying to teach a code but there are plenty of people out there that don’t want to hear it because they think they’re the special nigga.

you know what im going to say.

it started with us men.
im not talking about those that was killed by police or the klan..
im talking about those selfish niggas who stepped away from their family to pursue drug money or stepped away from responsibility. even if the woman stepped away...the men in her family or life should have stepped up to help raise the kids.
that is the beginning of the circle of fuckery.

it takes a village....but niggas only want to worry about their own hut.

alot of niggas aint grow up and thats why even now you see grown ass dudes competing with youngins on doing young shit. going after young girls...(ok maybe the young girl thing can slide cause they be thick ass fuck but as long as they legal.)

but it started a whole movement that set us back.

yes, people and govt put drugs in our community....but did we have to take the bait?

kinda like the train car full of guns that broke down in chicago? and no one came to get it? and now they doing it with sneakers....at least the men stood up to the cops.

You may not be talking about the system of white supremacy but that played a big part in where we are. That honestly played a bigger part because even when the black family was stronger there were men that stepped out and left.

but it was less to chase and more importance placed on family life.

fast money can make a man think he dont need shit but his freedom.

but even when men stepped out....at times family stepped up for that kid

Which goes back to the point. White. Supremacy.

Which goes back to the point. White. Supremacy.
supremecy over people is only allowed by the people its holding down.

example....all the nba, nfl and baseball money. all the rapper money. all the successful black people....

can we not create a system within a system and survive without the need of our oppressors?

can we create something that we can exist in and allow minimal outside influence?

we can do it but the questions is why arent we? on a large scale.

the problem lies within the person who doesnt believe in himself. who doesnt think hes worthy but wants to pretend he does.

Can we create that system? No and only because of the current mind state of too many of our people on both ends of the monetary spectrum. A lot of well off black people lose that connection to their fellow black people on a certain level that they feel is beneath them. You also have some poor people who still going to feel like shit is just supposed to be given to them.

First and foremost until black people come to the realization that we not all built for our success as a people and be willing to leave those people behind or eliminate them we not going to move forward.

Dude on a podcast I just listened to told a story. They had a ball player come back to his old neighborhood or city to honor him and do something else for the community. The man said the ball player at first was very standoffish and looking down on the people. It took a person to come up to him and say like you from here these your people they ain't going to do anything to you and don't want nothing from you but some pictures and a few handshakes. He said after someone said that to him the ball player decided to open up and mingle with the people.

You know how many people still wouldn't do that even after being told that.

Without the bullshit and the right people being on code we as black people could accomplish that EASY.

It goes back to having a code. Too many black people think that the way things are is fine and are petrified to acknowledge the situation we’re in.

i kinda understand the bball player....because of where he is from you know it only takes a second for a nigga to mess everything up for you. and if you react your the dummy but if you dont then you the dummy for going back.
this is where we need to protect and respect those that attempt to come back to show love, help out or just show the kids they can touch someone outside the local niggas and they can make it.

and on the flip side..
we dont know where he was in his head.

so i agree with you.....to a point.
we need to appreciate those who make it out and more would come back and that in turn helps out the next generation and we start something positive that can go on for generations.

good point an again i agree.

but most dont know what they like because they are not individuals.
they follow the crowd.

if the right nigga says something is cool...then niggas will follow him.
but most people that are followed are leading the crowd to fuckery and not financial stability.

Blind leading the blind?

That's partially true
