Who getting a Steam Deck

Steam Deck still the ish? Or have we moved on to other handhelds currently out now?

I still got mines

I know Switch 2 coming out but I aint fucking w/ Nintendo they done got me too many times

I'll wait til SD2 or something better come out
 
When i got a steamdeck I thought it would be a waste of money but I kinda love it.

I get to finally play alot of games in my collection i bought and forgot i had them. Really gets alot of mileage traveling
 
I saw mostly positive reviews for the new MSI Claw 8 at CES last month. Shocking considering folks trashed it a couple of months b4. But I think that version was the "demo" b4 the official release.

Yes but I need one for all or can it pay like the switch does meaning i can have ps2 ps3 ps4 and some pc games and close it out and go to another?
Basically I want to be able to play blitz,nba jam, killer instincts and some other games

Yea you can do all that plus some of the current games that are compatible with it

Its like a handeheld gaming computer

Is downloading Steam OS (especially on other hand helds) worth it?

I mean i idk about on other devices but ut is a Linux based system that steam deck uses and its good

I see a lot of people going with windows on their steam decks too but I aint really trying to mod mine to that extent. (Thats how u get access to Xbox game pass games and things like that)

I second the oled part. might as well go big if u do get it the oled is where its at so I've heard

i cant answer, but there isnt anything special about steam os. in gaming mode you get access to the steam store obviously. in desktop mode its just a modified version of linux. maybe a good question for reddit
