AP's mad at Pac cuz his AFTER DEATH albums aren't hot fire.

5 Grand is mad Pac wasn't more socially conscious as a kid.

This is the shit niggas come up with to discredit the Goat :foh5:

i hate you

.......sometimes

Well I don't want to argue with 2Pac because he's not here for a rebuttal, but no billionaire is going to give his money to poor people. A billionaire might donate money to a charity for a tax deduction, but just giving it to poor people is ridiculous.

Like I said though, are you aware about Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Mohammed Dewji??? etc near on 20 billionaires are giving away around 50% of their wealth before and after they die...

i'ma try and keep it simple, but my point to goldie was that a lot of pac's unreleased music wasnt finished. It wasnt mixed, engineered, etc...

The west coast sound has changed so much. I mean you have artists that occasionally make tracks with a traditional west coast vibe as a homage, but the albums today by large dont sound like the albums at the peak Death Row reign.

Add to that, as I appreciate it, they've had to stitch together Pac verses to make songs. Im not saying thats a fact or anything goldie, so dont try to twist my words, but i remember reading or hearing this years ago, and im just going off the assumption that if someone is STILL trying to release previously recorded Pac music, they are still doing that

So if you are releasing those songs as they were intended to be heard when they released, yes, it will sound dated. If its acapellas over more current sounding beats, then thats a completely different story.

Subject matter can be dated, but if i listen to an record talk about police brutality recorded in the 90s, that tells me that in the 20+ years since this song came out, our society is still plagued by these issues, and thats not a bad thing

But if you talking about gold daytons and shit on a 64 impala, well, you see where im going with this

I got you.

But my thing is, for example, someone might say 36 Chambers sounds dated, but Illmatic still sounds fresh today. Both got that early/mid 90's NYC sound, lyrically it's at worst a notch below if not on par w/ Illmatic.

If your feeling one more than the other, cool. But don't say it's sounds dated, while championing other albums that could fall in the same category.

i want niggas to have this same sentiment when discussing No Limit albums

My gripe wit Pac is I believe that whole persona he exhibited wit’ Death Row was another good acting role that got him smoked out there playing gangster wit’ real gangsters...PAC was a poet/thinker/activist/son of a black Panther/actor....not that he wasn’t “tough” or anything and we all have many sides to us but he perpetuated tha same shit that he KNEW plagued tha community he was once fighting for...he used to fuckin rap about it...speak about it...YELL about it...then he turns around and starts fighting over “chains, turf and fake loyalty”...it may be harsh but I held him to a higher standard than falling into a puppet for tha powers that be by basically becoming a stereotype ...and I also believe whole heartedly that he knew who set him up and it wasn’t Big but he wasn’t gonna make money off a real street beef so he played into tha East/West shit...and I also know he owed Suge money and blah blah blah but fuck all’at...pre death row Pac >>>>>>>>mostly everything death row Pac and beyond

Still R.I.P. tho

This whole post was bullshit, but I'll save the rebuttal for another day lol

I hate the criticism niggas give Pac once he went to Deathrow.

He was what 24 yrs old? Had just done a stint in prison over some questionable shit, was shot up before that and mocked while he was in there. I remember that shit, niggas had mad jokes about Pac being in jail.

So this nigga comes out angry af. Who wouldn't? That whole shit at the casino, yeah in hindsight he mos def fucked up. But the niggas really act like puffy didnt put a bounty on Deathrow chains. Why you think Pac took that shit so personal? Puttin money on ppl is serious shit.

In the end, Pac lost his way. The man was only 25 years old.

I got no problem if he had directed that anger to tha niggaz he really had beef wit’....he said Haitian Jack name one time but all tha other shit talk and energy was towards a beef between his boss and another nigga boss...prolly planned out by both them to make more money...imagine if Kendrick dropped GKMC, TPAB, DAMN and then gets locked up for some bs...niggaz talk shit and then he come out acting/rapping like YG or some shit...you gonna think he wildin’ too

I get it.

I just think he did some ill advised shit, but to a degree understandably so (based on the info he said he was given in prison) when you young and hot headed. And badboy added just as much fuel to the fire.

Far as beef between bosses, you right. suge and puff took advantage of a situation between pac and big because they had real issues with each other. But Pac still had his own issue with Big, right or wrong. I wish those two brothers had worked it out. I really think they would have until the streets got involved.
