COMMUNITY When Is It Okay To Two Piece Your Child?

His mother told him to do it, not some random person in the street so that whole "if someone told him grab a gun" bullshit doesn't apply. His MOTHER told him to do it so he was listening to her. You being mad at him was wrong, you not thinking so doesn't mean that it really wasn't wrong.

doesnt matter...the fact im his father and he was more afraid of getting yelled, so he felt he could find comfort and direction fromhis mother who told him to get someone to get him out of trouble.

this is way bigger then listening to his mother.

i thought very clear...and the fact it was his mother who has many males in her family who dealt with him afterwards as well.

even a judge agreed with me and the local police did nothing.

what does that tell you?

now lets say ...i fell back.

what would he be afraid of and what lesson would he have learned?

Further more, I don't need to yell at my child.

I can't go off what ifs, I'm not worried about a scenario like that happening to be honest. Not whooping a child does not equal no discipline, just like discipline doesn't equal whooping.
this is one of those times....maybe you should sit back and be thankful your ex is not crazy and putting shit in your childs head.

He actually is crazy and if given the chance he probably actually would do that.

that's the only thing of value there. punching your child with no regrets trumps parental alienation. I see why she told him to go to the coach, should've told him to ring 911.
lol.....

you have no idea what you are talking about. that action did more good than harm.

and who said i didnt have regrets?

try reading again sis....dont be so reactionary.

everything has a reason

I'm just waiting for my son to get a little older cuz I already see his mouth getting him in trouble now and when he gets older.....I don't give him a two piece yet but a quick jab to the chest is effective for now when he gets out of line with me and its usually the last line of defense after several other options have been used.

My son is just over a year so I haven't had to do more than a light pop yet. Monday night though he was trying to run into the kitchen and i caught his ass right on the back of his leg. Had never popped him that hard before. He looked so confused like "oh shit. He's serious this time." Started crying then came and hugged me like he was asking for forgiveness. Last night he started to go in the kitchen again, stopped turned and looked at me then walked right back to one of his toys lol.

Shit my 2 y/o almost caught it last night. I was laying on the couch watching TV and she just came over out of nowhere and slapped the shit out of me and started laughing. I was so shocked by the savagery of the random assault that I ain't even do anything. She just walked of like "That's what I thought."
