I can prove it.
Up until about 100 years ago, people used candles, or a fireplace to light the room and keep warm.
Now we have electricity and cars,
The exhaust from the cars is hot, polluted air.
We use electricity for just about everything, which must heat up the globe if everybody is using it at the same time. Keep in mind China, Japan, Australia, and even some parts of Russia are on the opposite side of the globe. So when it's nighttime for us it's daytime over there and vice versa. So basically there's always half of the world's population with their lights on.
