OPINION What's The Most Overrated HipHop "Classic" Album of Alltime?

It'll probably never happen, but if we could agree on the criteria of what makes an album a classic, it'll make things easier.

Some people feel that classic means a high quality album from front to back that stands the test of time.

Others feel the criteria also includes impact and influence.

For example, an album like "Below The Heavens" by Blu. Can it be a Hip Hop classic if only 13 people heard it? Respectfully.

But as far as "overrated classics" it's gotta be one of those Eminem albums that went diamond.

Also, there's a lot of mid 90s mixtapes from DJS like Doo Wop, S&S, Dirty Harry, Kid Capri, DJ Clue and Kay Slay that are straight fire, but aren't actually albums in the traditional sense.

We’ve tried time and again on here to figure out a universal classic criteria and no one wants to take they feelings outta shit.

Think Thriller but a hip hop version…, every song slaps …. It moves Units…. Has a cultural and long lasting impact
