anything is possible at this point. I will go back and watch the final two episodes of season 2 b/c i like this discussion and i wanna give a more informed opinion
 
Thx for pressuring me to watch "Game of Thrones" @AP21 . Im almost done with s1. I might skip s2-s6 and go straight to s7 tho.

take your time with GoT though. There are a LOT of moving parts. And they are breaking the final season up into two halves so you might be caught up with everyone else by the time you finish
 
finally got to the "where's wallace" scene in the wire...no matter how many times i see this, it always gives me the same feeling

such a powerful scene.
 
Been watching something new called Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency on hulu.......it's the weirdest detective show I've ever seen. It's like somebody mixed monk, psyche, and that show wilford together. It's funny but at the same time it's so casually violent and I don't wtf is going most of the time but I like it.
 
Just started watching Greenleaf...idk why I thought i wouldn't like it ...something about it seemed kinda low budget. But just finished the first episode. This shit fire already. And this is coming from somebody who ain't religious.

Ozark, you guys need to watch it.

Outside of that cringing gay blowjob scene in Episode 3 I think, it is a good show.

Very different from what is out there.

MP really gets poppin in the 2nd episode iirc....
I won't lie the 2nd season ain't up to par with the first tho. But overall it's a good watch.

wrapped up season 2 of the wire of my 4th viewing

i now have a greater appreciation for season 2 and take back all the bashing i did about it

season 2 is the glue to the rest of the series and actually is pretty good if you look at if from that angle, and less from the Barksdale pov, which admittedly, i did.

I found myself for the first time feeling sorry for Frank Sobatka. Actually felt sorry for Ziggy too. Dude just wanted to fit in and just made bad choice after bad choice as a result

The major crime unit did much better this go around which was evident in how they navigated the case vs the first Barksdale season. This season also took me back in time when texting was just starting to become a thing. We've come a LONG way since the early days of it lol. That was cool to see and reflect upon

after this viewing, i move it into the top 3 of the series.

Yeah, almost everybody I've seen that said they wasn't felling s2 said it wasn't enough Barksdale crew in that season.

To me S2 showed how and why the drugs get into Bmore and that the powers that be aren't just fucking over black people.

Plus like you said it set up a lot of what happens in S3 especially w/ Stringer and Avon.
