Gives people a chance to be an adult during their athletic peak
Makes for stronger people mentally
Makes it so ppl can enjoy more of life sooner
you can be 22 with a college degree house and family and it’s the norm
You can be 20 years into a job and only be in your early 40s
We hold people back from responsibilities they are capable of at age 16
That’s old enough to be responsible
Not until recently did we decide that wasn’t good enough

It's the opposite way. 18 is too young to call anyone an adult and alot of 21 year olds aren't there.
Go look at what high schoolers looked like in the 80s and how they look now lol. The difference is wild.
We're coming out of that teen stage slower and slower by the generation.

I don't think you can apply that cause the work force and demand for workers isn't the same and will only get worst because of technology.

Shit, when I was coming out of high school, it was expected that we would be done with college in 4-5 years, so starting your career at 22-23 was normal.
Buying a house was maybe within 5 years of that so by the time you were 30 if you were in an area not called NYC, LA, SanFran, Chicago, or Miami, you had a reasonable chance of being in a "starter" home good and into your career and prolly looking at settling down.
These were the expectations back in those days.
