Exactly. I have 2 cousins (brothers). One has been in and out of prison since he was like 17 or 18. The other never really got in any trouble, and he's an entrepreneur...he's really putting in work to build his businesses.

The family has given the fuck up cars, places to live, money, etc... they just wish the entrepreneur good luck, but don't contribute to his dream. Watching that happen taught me a lesson.

You've seriously never noticed or seen this? Can see it when they try and take up hobbies they see affluent white people doing, just to fit in. Can be the richest person in the room, but they'll change their vernacular to make white people feel more safe and comfortable. Can see it in hairstyle and attire that white people deemed "clean & professional", but whats funny to me, is these dorky tech kids will wear their regular jeans & hoodie in a room full of affluent white people in suits, with no fucks. Even if they complain.

Without me even typing that, you know damn well a lot of POC in this country seek white validation & acceptance, as soon as they gain success.

Alicia Keys is an awful singer.

I prefer black women who wear their hair natural as opposed to weave and wigs. It's something about beautiful black woman with a nice medium sized fro or some locs.

Alot of black people like to perpetuate the stereotypes the media has portrayed of us as a race. I will say this has gotten better though.
